you can do this now for some apis and we're making more available like this all the time. feel free to open a feature request for a specific one that you want to see. see https://github.com/expo/expo-camera for camera and https://github.com/expo/expo-file-system for file system

we're working on making the sdk more modular so that it can be easily used without all of the other expo infrastructure
