Making app content searchable

We need the users to be able to search the app content from spotlight in iOS or google search in Android.
Having an app with lot of content, this will greatly help in app discovery greatly influencing growth & user engagement.

Could a package like https://www.npmjs.com/package/react-native-spotlight-search be used with EAS/custom development client or a bare workflow?

Charles Burgess: have started using the bare workflow to try this package. However, would love to have this part of expo itself as it is an important native functionality of apps
