Currently you can share to iOS if it's on the camera roll, I am unsure about Android. It should be possible to share an image to Instagram without putting it on camera roll, and on both platforms

Any progress here related to Instagram Stories? I'm able to share background images on stories, but Instagram crashes when I attempt to add the "interactive_asset_uri" extra field.
Also would be nice to include UIPasteboard support for iOS as well which would make sharing on Instagram with iOS possible (I'm able to navigate to the URL with "instagram-stories://share", but cannot load a background or sticker asset as that seems to require UIPasteboard)

Using FileSystem you can do this with any image on iOS. I think Android URI schemes open in browser for instagram. Because of this you would need intents to share on Android.

Evan Bacon: I have searched everywhere for any solution for sharing images/files on Android but seems like there is none. This Feature Request has been marked Under Review last year, is there any update you may have on this? I believe this should be among important Features to get implemented. Thanks & regards.
