There was a request for this 3 years ago, and it was closed without it being rectified. Seems like the only use case that makes sense to me. Why would I only want a single image? Why is this a restriction? The only way to accomplish this now is to use the media library plugin and roll your own, which is just a lot of work for something that could have been included in the image picker. Also why does this only work for (WEB), I am sure that 99% of people do not use React Native to develop a web app.
