this uses an identical api to https://docs.expo.io/versions/latest/sdk/fingerprint.html but now of course the name doesn't match so well :P perhaps we should rename it to biometrics or something. either way, just go ahead and use that api and it'll work

Brent Vatne: Thanks, using the API successfully with Face ID. However you do get the iOS message about the app needing updating to support Face ID properly. Any plans to fix that? thanks

out of interest what makes face id different so the current expo fingerprint api doesn't work?
