On iOS, the segmented Picker in @expo/ui/swift-ui (and the community SegmentedControl built on it) ignores font modifiers on both the picker and its Text children, because SwiftUI’s segmented style doesn’t apply them. So apps using SF Pro Rounded or a custom weight elsewhere can’t match their selectors, even though NativeTabs already takes a labelStyle with font settings.

Could you add a font option for normal and selected segments (size, weight, design such as rounded, family)? It could use the same approach as the recent selectedSegmentTintColor modifier: find the UISegmentedControl behind the picker and call setTitleTextAttributes(_:for:) for .normal and .selected.

This would make it usable in Expo Go. Today it needs custom native code and a development build.

Tested with Expo SDK 58, @expo/ui 58.0.27, iOS 26.
