Noel Broda: SDK 43 included experimental support for Hermes on iOS. SDK 44's release notes say "Hermes warnings now have built-in support and show a much more helpful snippet." So I would guess it's still experimental.
On the other hand, the docs do not say it's experimental

We landed support for Hermes on Android in Expo Go, EAS Build, and expo-updates in SDK 42: https://blog.expo.io/expo-sdk-42-579aee2348b6
In SDK 43 we will investigate the possibility of adding support on iOS as well.

we aren't actively working on this, but we certainly are interested in supporting it in the future.
