Closed as we don't have plans beyond the
--json
flags and the EAS hooks and webhooks, and no additional use cases were provided.Brent Vatne
we don't plan on providing a public api in the near future. we intentionally added the
--json
flag to the CLI to allow developers to use it for automation, so you can pass it in to eas build:list
, eas build:view
, etc. can you elaborate on what you want to accomplish that isn't possible with this?J

Brent Vatne: One of our use cases is to have an internal web page for the team to get the latest build available group by EAS profile/ (beta/simulator/device...) or branch.

Jonathan Etaix: that makes sense! one way you could do this for now is to run
eas build:list --json
in a subprocess (could be in-band with request / cache the value for some time, or maybe on a schedule), another way is you could build a webhook that updates the value. https://docs.expo.dev/eas/webhooks/
