Expose native filesystems

I need to save files to publicly available folder that can be accessed to user. There's no way to do that with the current
expo-file-system
other than doing the work around.Patrick McGuckin
expo-file-system
has an extremely limited feature set, but I can't use react-native-fs
or rn-fetch-blob
in a managed app.- created a folder inside one of the shared folders, but when I try to write a file to my folder, it writes the file as a sibling of it instead, have tried pretty much every URI possible (the URIs returned by the lib methods seem to be super inconsistent, some give back slashes and others give encoded ones... some have a document root that repeats itself and others don't...)
- I can't append to a file or overwrite it for some reason... file writes with an SAF URI require the file to exist, but attempting to overwrite a file (via SAF URI) that has contents will create a new file with a (1)suffix in the name, which seems backwards to the "requires file to exist"

I was able to download all types of file with help of media library , And file available for all users also, just the limitation is files will be saving in an album(that you can create via media library). then image video will show up directly , to view other files you should download right explorer

Please give me suggestion.

Merged in a post:
Add externalDirectory to Expo.FileSystem
Đào Mạnh Hải
Expo should support save files to external directory to share with any app.
Like as RNFS.ExternalDirectoryPath from https://github.com/itinance/react-native-fs
Abdul Sadık Yalçın
The filesystem of expo is internal storage - it cannot be accessed outside our applications. This is a serious limitation. I hope this gets added and released quite quickly.

Is there a way, somehow, integrate/incorporate that library in expo sdk?

What do you mean by saving files and making them available. I have been working with fs api for the last month. I feel like you can do anything with it at its current state. I think you can find a walk around for the use case you need

Burak Tokak: as far as I've been able to work with it, making files accesible to my users has been impossible. Also I have not been able to find the files using any file explorer on android devices.
So, it came to my mind, why don't just let developers save files on the Files app in iOS 11 or the downloads folder on android instead of making the user dive and guess where is it?.
